Erin Glowe, M.A., CCC-SLP is a private practice speech-language pathologist providing home-based services to the greater Pasadena area of California. Speech and language services include consultations, evaluations, assessments and therapy for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Home-based services cover the following areas: South Pasadena, San Gabriel, San Marino, Alhambra, Pasadena, Sierra Madre, Arcadia, Monrovia, Temple City, Rosemead, La Canada-Flintridge, La Crescenta, Glendale and Altadena. Services may also be provided in a daycare or preschool setting, as allowed by the particular facility. Diagnoses served but not limited to, include: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Speech and Language Delays, Oral Motor Disorders, Expressive Language Disorders, Articulation Disorders, Phonological Disorders, and Pragmatic/Social Language Disorders.

Erin’s therapeutic approach is warm, fun, and family-friendly. Erin creates an individual approach for each child, always focusing on the child’s highest potential. Erin believes that family participation is essential for continued progress, mastery and generalization of skills.

A therapy plan is created for each child with measurable goals and objectives. Therapy is planned with the use of specific strategies to address the learning style of each individual child. Feedback is given to parents at the conclusion of each session, and ideas for at-home practice activities are provided.
